The Vein Test
The easiest way to determine skin's undertone is to check the colour of your veins. If your veins appear blue, you have cool undertones. If they look green you have warm undertones. (This may not work for everyone)
The Silver/Gold Test
The silver/gold test is an excellent way to determine your skin's undertone. If you naturally gravitate to silver jewellery, you probably have a cool undertone. Those with warm undertones look best in gold jewellery.
The Clothing Test
Are their certain colours that you look best in? If you can rock jewel tones such as blues, grey's purples and emerald greens, you are most probably cool toned. If you favour earthy shades such as red, beige, tan and creams you are on the warm side.
